Originally founded in 1988, Clearwater Hat Company was committed to creating custom period and historical hats. Seizing an opportunity to expand Clearwater to include felt hat styles for everyone, Eliza Hatman purchased Clearwater Hat Company from Kay and Bob Burton in 2020.

Moving Clearwater Hat Company to her hometown Calico Rock, Arkansas on the banks of Piney Creek, Eliza prides her location on its spectacular views and true remoteness. Over the last four years, Eliza has added 50+ new styles to include western hats, custom media replicas, bridal hats, and more. Using original equipment and hand making every hat, Eliza tailors every hat to fit individual style, preference, and shape.
